Resort Amenities 
Privacy abounds on this white-sand beach and with no other hotels within 1.5 km (a mile) in either direction, strolling or laying out on the sand is usually quiet and uncrowded. The resort provides snorkeling equipment for exploring the long coral reef that lies just offshore.

A 200-person air-conditioned movie theater shows Hollywood films and serves popcorn, candy, sodas, and chocolate (out of service, temporarily). Movies are also shown on a large, open-air screen. Live performances of music and dance are performed on a beach stage. The Explorers Kids' Club provides supervised activities for children age 3–12 years in an air-conditioned clubhouse. An adjacent teen room has foosball, pool tables, a large-screen TV, and a kitchenette with snacks.

Dining
Please keep in mind that no reservations are required for any restaurants at the resort.  They do give out beepers if full so you can enjoy the whole resort while you are waiting.

Dolce Vita - Italian specialities. Buffet service for breakfast & lunch. A la carte for dinner; reservations required. Guests may dine in this restaurant once a week(subject to avail).DRESS CODE:men are required to wear long pants and shirts with sleeves for dinner
El Acuario - A completely casual atmosphere located on the beach offering snacks and fast food. Grilled meats, sausages, hamburgers, pizzas and a selection of salads. Open 24 hours.
Frutos del Mar - Only an "à la carte" dinner service with a large variety of fish and shellfish in Caribbean style.Reservations are required. Guests may dine in this restaurant once a week(Subject to avail).DRESS CODE:Men required to wear long pants & shirts w/sleeves.
Riviera - Main restaurant (international buffet)with sea view(breakfast, lunch & dinner).The restaurant is exclusively for use of guests staying at the Bahia Principe Akumal. DRESS CODE:footwear is required, no bathing suites.
Arlequin - International Gourmet restaurant.Exclusive for Bahia Príncipe Akumal guestsOpen for a la carte dinner only;reservations are required.Guests may dine in restaurant once a week(Subject to avail).DRESS CODE:Men required to wear long pants & shirt w/sleeves

Since many of the guests are taking schedule airlines like American Airlines we are giving printing the prices within this page.  Instead as of April 1, 2008 we are now offering destination wedding guests three options to look at what might be the best itinerary for them.  The first two options allow you to look at live prices after our business hours, switch around schedules and even book your reservations with our online booking engines.  We will contact you the next following business day.  And don't worry we have the group prices loaded.  Or you could send us an email to us.  The choice is always yours!
