Documents:

You both will need valid passports as proof of citizenship. Make certain your passport has not expired and is valid for at least six months after your arrival date in Grand Cayman.  We suggest an original copy of your birth certificate (with a raised seal) in addition to your valid passport.

If either of you have been previously married, then bring along the original divorce decree. A widow(er) must bring both the original marriage and death certificates. These documents must have the raised seal from the court, because photocopies are not acceptable.

Arrangements with the Marriage Officer should be made prior to filing the application for the marriage Licence. Marriage licenses can be obtained on the same day as application. You must produce a Cayman Islands International Immigration Department Pink Slip showing proof of entry. Cruise passengers may present their ship boarding passes to demonstrate they are legally in port.

The minimum legal age to marry without parental consent is 18. Two witnesses must be present at the ceremony.  

Fees:

The fees are normally handle through the resorts that we work with however if you are looking for a private villa wedding then you must apply in person.  Fees are $200 U.S. (or CI $160 in Cayman Island Dollars).

There is no waiting period for Grand Cayman Island weddings.
