Destinations
Dominican Republic

The second largest island in the Caribbean and the second most popular wedding destination.  On this island you have three different "views" to the local culture.  There is the European side to Santo Domingo with their rolling residential hills on the South side and Colonial architecture.  On the North is the more laid back with Atlantic waters and cappuccino sand beaches along with the mountainous backdrop.  Then there is the turquoise waters and white sand beaches of Punta Cana.

British Virgin Islands Weddings

Trips Down The Aisle - Weddings on the go! has been working with destination wedding couples to the Caribbean for the past 10 years.  All of our consultants are Certified Destination Wedding Specialists by the Destination Wedding Association  plus the various island's Tourism Boards and member of the Caribbean Tourism Organization.  We value our expert knowledge to the Caribbean.

When you think of The British Virgin Islands (BVI), don't think big, think numerous. There is more of everything in The British Virgin Islands, but only in the ways that count. With more beauty, more isolated beaches and more unsurpassed sailing. These islands are truly one of nature's little secrets. The BVI's main islands include:

Tortola, the largest island and the primary center of Caribbean yachting...

Virgin Gorda, an isle of natural wonders and home to The Baths...

Picturesque Jost Van Dyke - The Caribbean as it used to be...

Isolated Anegada, a coral atoll with miles of deserted Caribbean beaches.

Each island has its own special character and charm. But these are only the major islands of the BVI.  There are also dozens of secluded islands, islets and cays, all unique and beautiful in their own right.

Resorts

There are a lot of hotels, small resorts, villas and inns in The BVI.  Rather than mega-resorts, we have lovely hotels and intimate guest houses, some located on swathes of white sand, others tucked into tropical hillsides. All are personal and caring. When staying in The BVI you won't be part of a crowd and you won't be just a number.

Prefer the sea to the land? The BVI offers even more. The Caribbean's largest bareboat and crewed charter yacht fleets call The British Virgin Islands home, yet the anchorages remain unspoiled and the sailing waters are unsurpassed. With dozens of anchorages to sail to - all within an hour or two cruise - no wonder The BVI is one of the world's top sailing destinations.
