Wedding
Requirements
Documents:
You both will
need valid passports
as proof of
citizenship. Make
certain your
passport has not
expired and is valid
for at least six
months after your
departure date in
Barbados. We
suggest an original
copy of your birth
certificate (with a
raised seal) in
addition to your
valid passport..
If either of you
have been previously
married, then bring
along the original
divorce decree. A
widow(er) must bring
both the original
marriage and death
certificates. These
documents must have
the raised seal from
the court, because
photocopies are not
acceptable.
The application
for a marriage
licence must be made
by both parties, in
person, at the
office of the
Ministry of Home
Affairs.
Fees:
The fees are
normally handle
through the resorts
that we work with
however if you are
looking for a
private villa
wedding then you
must apply in
person. If
neither party is a
citizen or resident
of Barbados - BDS
$150.00 cash and a
$25.00 stamp

for Barbados
weddings.

traditional resorts
and private villas

island. All

towards Barbados.
